Battery Charge Monitor

This project was one I independently designed for Herb Hainey and Associates. The purpose of the circuit was to keep track of a battery's state of charge through "coulomb counting" and some proprietary predictive algorithms. This project was my first encounter with Atmel's Two Wire Interface (TWI), the scope shot on the right was from when I was first getting the data bus set up, reading off the data visible on the scope vs. the data I was trying to send.
